Jelly Runner first released in 2025 as an HTML5 endless runner, developed for quick play in a web browser. It’s an arcade style runner where a soft jelly character moves forward automatically, and the entire game is built around one thing: making clean jumps and not falling off. No downloads, no setup, and it works the same on desktop and mobile.
The Jelly Runner gameplay is about as simple as it gets. The jelly runs on its own. The only thing to control is jumping. Click the mouse, press Space, or tap the screen, and the jelly jumps. Miss a platform, hit an obstacle, or fall into a gap, and the run ends immediately.
At the start, everything feels pretty forgiving. Platforms are wide, gaps are small, and the pace is manageable. After a short time, that changes. Platforms start moving. Gaps appear more often. Obstacles show up closer together. The speed creeps up without warning.
There’s no rhythm system and no power-ups to save a bad jump. Timing matters more than speed. Most failures come from jumping too early or panicking when the layout tightens up.
During runs, yellow paint drops can be collected. These are used later to change the jelly’s color. They don’t affect gameplay or score, so the focus stays on surviving longer.
Jelly Runner keeps things clean. No upgrades. No abilities. Every run plays by the same rules, which makes wins and losses feel earned.
Knowing how to play Jelly Runner is mostly about staying calm. The game doesn’t punish slow thinking, but it ends runs fast when clicks get rushed.
