Tap Drift is a small racing drift game. It published as a simple mobile and browser title, and the whole thing runs on one button. The game looks basic at first, but once the car starts sliding, it gets tense fast. The track keeps going, the turns get sharper, and the challenge hits pretty quickly.
The controls are very simple. Tap the screen or press the spacebar to drift. Let go to straighten out. That’s it. The game throws corners back-to-back, so the timing matters more than anything else. If the press is too long, the car swings wide and slips off the road. If it’s too short, the car won’t clear the bend. After a few runs, the rhythm starts to make sense.
The best way to get better at Tap Drift is to watch the track instead of the car. The curves show their shape early, and seeing them a little ahead gives enough time to react. Sharp turns need a longer hold, but it’s easy to overdo it, so easing into the drift usually works better. The game feels like a small loop of tap, turn, release, reset. Once that rhythm settles in, the runs last much longer.
